About Us Hello, my name is Kara Stevens and I am a recovering addict. I am an active member of Narcotics Anonymous and I got clean and sober in February 2000 after 19 years of addiction. I am fortunate that I never had to live in a sober living home, but I realize the need for them. I realize that many people need a fresh start. That is why I have decided to start this web site. It is my hope that by providing other recovering addicts with information, I can help them to recover the lives they once had or attain lives they never even dreamed of having. I want all of you to know that this is a labor of love for me. I am not doing this to make a profit. Their is no giant corporation behind me. I am developing this web site in my own time with my own money. Just one more way that I can give back what was so freely given to me. I ask for help from other addicts to build up this web site by providing nothing but information. Information that I can compile here in one place where it can be easily found and used by all.
